Nakuul Mehta opts out of dance show after wife suffers a knee injury
Actor Nakuul Mehta, who was to participate in Nach Baliye with his wife Jankee, has opted out of the show. His wife Jankee, who is a singer had gone to Hong Kong for a concert, where she suffered a knee injury while rehearsing for her performance there.
Says Nakuul, "This is so disappointing because I was emotionally connected with the show. I had met Jankee at a dance class 10 years ago, when we fell in love."
The couple had been practising past two months and they even shot for the promo of the show. "But the doctor has just told us that dancing further would only hurt Jankee's knees more. She has been advised rest for six weeks," says Nakuul.
