Zee TV's Qubool Hai completes 500 episodes
Within a very short span of time since its launch in October 2012, Zee TV’s Qubool Hai took the nation by storm with its progressive depiction of a modern Muslim family, its fine narrative, intriguing plot and well-defined characters played convincingly by some very talented actors. The show recently completed a successful run of 500 episodes! This called for a big celebration on the sets where everyone from the cast and crew got together for a giant cake-cutting.
Having captivated millions of viewers across the world, the show is now progressing to an even more interesting turn of events. The show started out with the journey of gutsy Zoya Farooqui and the idealistic, perfectionist Asad – two starkly different personalities whose paths crossed beautifully by the designs of destiny. Their initial reservations and misgivings about each other made way for a romance that bloomed on Indian television. Sunil Nagar to enter Zee TV’s Qubool Hai
We recently reported about actress Sujata Vaishnav entering Zee TV’s Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) as the mother of Sunehri (Surbhi Jyoti), the look-alike of Sanam. We now hear that actor Sunil Nagar will also be entering along with her, as father of Sunehri.
Nagar who was recently seen in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and The Adventures of Hatim will play the character of Shishupal, a very cunning and wicked con man. The man will be very unpredictable, and would get into his ‘Shaayirana’ mood at times, only to show his villainous avatar the very next minute.
Shishupal would have trained Sunehri in all kinds of con activities, starting from breaking doors to lockers to doing all illegal stuff. Now when Sunehri would have got her entry into Rehaan’s (Shehzaad Sheikh) house, both Rozy (Sujata Vaishnav) and Shishupal would come to stay with Sunehri. Their main intention will be to break open the locker in Rehaan’s house and run away with all the money. However, problem for them will surface when Sunehri will get into two minds of whether or not to loot Rehaan.
When contacted, Nagar who has done quite a lot of episodics so far on TV said, “Yes, I have started shooting for Qubool Hai. My entry along with my onscreen wife’s will take place in the Maha episode slated to go on air this weekend. I am enjoying shooting for this popular show.”
Sunil Nagar is also presently shooting for Kabir Khan’s upcoming movie on the 26/11 attack in Mumbai and terrorism titled ‘Phantom’. He will play a dreaded terrorist from Pakistan who would mastermind the 26/11 attack.

Sujata Vaishnav to enter Zee TV's Qubool Hai
Actress Sujata Vaishnav will soon enter Zee TV’s Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) to provide comic relief. She will essay the role of Rozy, mother of Sunehri (Surbhi Jyoti), the look-alike of Sanam.
Sujata, who has done shows like Pavitra Rishta, Saas Bina Sasural, Diya Aur Baati Hum, will play a negative-shaded character with a comic touch.
A source tells us, “Rozy would be a prostitute by profession, and would want Sunehri too to get into the business. She will be seen entering the main family, and would want to poke her nose into everything.”
When contacted, Sujata confirmed her entry in Qubool Hai saying, “Yes, I will be entering Qubool Hai, and mine will be a cameo role. However, I will be starting shoot only tomorrow.”
Sujata recently essayed mother to Emily in Diya Aur Baati Hum.
