Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq gets the axe. Yes, the show is all set to bid final adieu on 3 October (2014).
Produced by talented Saba Mumtaz and BBC Worldwide Media, the serial struck an instant chord with the audience with its interesting storyline and amazing performances by actors like Vishwajeet Pradhan, Viraf Patel and Chhavi Pandey.
But soon numbers began to drop and the news of the show going off started doing the rounds. To pep up the ratings, the makers decided on taking a leap along with some few entries like Ankur Nayyar, Priya Bathija and Zohaib Siddiqui.
Sadly that too did not click and the channel and makers have chosen to end the show logically rather than dragging along. The makers will shoot till next week and the last episode will air on 3 October.
When we buzzed Saba she said, “Yes, the final confirmation has come and we are ending the show. It had been a great run and we hope to bring out some new and interesting projects soon.”
Ek Boond Ishq will be replaced by Rajshri Productions’ Mere Rang Mein Rangnewali.
Also some major developments have been planned in the channel. Balaji Telefilms’ Ajeeb Dastaan Hai that was to take Nadaan Parindey’s (Scaling Heights) time slot of 9 pm will now air at Tumhari Paakhi’s time slot of 9:30 pm and Tumhari Paakhi will shift to 9 pm from 29 September.
So gear up to bid farewell to the two shows and welcome another one on your TV screen.

It's a wrap up for Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq!
Its celebration time in Ek Boond Ishq as it shoots its last day today.
BBC Worldwide's popular show Ek Boond Ishq on Life OK has always attracted the audiences attention, the show has grabbed the eyeballs not only through its storyline but also the actors have justified their characters very well.
Earlier we have reported that the show is soon going off air and today it's the last day of shoot for Ek Boond Ishq. As the show is coming to an end the entire cast will celebrate their last day on the sets.
Our source says, "The show will end with a good note. Mannat (Priya Bhatija) and Omkar (Ankur Nayyar) will accept the truth that they have killed Sia (Chhavi Pandey) and so they will get arrested. Sia's mother in law comes to know the truth about Tara so she will let them go. The high point of this plot will be Tara, MJ and Kalavati will come face to face and the cops will come to know that Kalavati (Viswajeet Pradhan) is alive so they will come to arrest Kalavati."

Actor Viraf Phiroz Patel rushed to hospital from the sets of Ek Boond Ishq
Recently, television actor Viraf Phiroz Patel had to be hospitalized after he suffered from severe concussions on the sets of Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq, which will soon end shop.
It is learned that despite years of being toughened up, the long shoot schedules and the recent news of the show going off air pushed him to the brink. Yesterday, while shooting Viraf suddenly blacked out after concussions. When the situation worsened the crew of Ek Boond Ishq (BBC Worldwide and Saba Mumtaz) quickly rushed him to a hospital and ensured he was tended to.
Viraf has always had a special corner for the show as it’s his first daily soap. With the news of the show coming to an end Viraf is leaving no stone unturned and ensuring that he gives his best in its final leg.
We wish him well.

Mrityunjay to regain his memory in Ek Boond Ishq!
Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq will soon gear up with the most awaited sequenc where MJ will regain his memory.
Life OK's popular show Ek Boond Ishq will showcase the most awaited track where Mrityunjay (Viraf Phiroz Patel) will regain his memory after Tara's struggle. As seen in the previous episodes, MJ who is known as Baali has lost his memory and is safeguarding Tara (Chhavi Pandey) by becoming her body guard to shield her. However, Omkar (Ankur Nayyar) is unaware about Baali being MJ and he is Tara's husband.
Omkar comes to know the truth that MJ and Tara are husband and wife. So when MJ meets with an accident and Omkar can only be his savior as he is one of the best surgeons. Omkar agrees to operate him only one condition that if Tara agrees to leave MJ and continues to live with Omkar as his wife Sia.
Now what will happen when MJ gains consciousness?
As per our source, "When MJ will gain consciousness, he will regain his memory. He will immediately rush to meet Tara at Agnihotri house to take his wife back. But when MJ will reach at the Agnihotri house and ask Tara to come along with him, she will deny and tell MJ that she is now Omkar's wife Sia and not his wife Tara."
"MJ will be shock to hear this and later he will be thrown out of the house. He will stay near their house as he will not be able to understand that why Tara is lying and on the other hand Tara will thank Omkar for saving MJ's life but will be in tears as she cannot go back to her husband whom she loves so much." adds the source.

Vishwajeet Pradhan to debut in Hollywood!
Talented actor Vishwajeet Pradhan who is loved as Kalavati in Life OK's show Ek Boond Ishq will play the lead role in an Hollywood film.
One of the finest actors of TV Vishwajeet Pradhan who is loved and appreciated for his role of Kalavati in Life OK's popular show Ek Boond Ishq is set to explore his acting more and will be seen on the big screen but this time it will be internationally.
The actor who has been a part of many successful Bollywood movies will be making his debut in Hollywood. Yes! The actor has recently wrapped up shooting for an International movie.
We contacted the talented actor Vishwajeet Pradhan to know about his experience of making a debut in Hollywood, "It has been a fantastic experience shooting for an International film. The whole film has shot in Los Angeles which is a great location and we shot in big studios there. Doing an Hollywood film is altogether a different experience as it is disciplined in terms of rehearsals. The entire cast and crew was superb. It was a pleasure to be a part of this film with such an amazing team."

Life OK's Ek Boond Ishq to go off air; Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye to air at 9.30!
Life OK's Ek Boond to be replaced by Mere Rang Mein Rangnewali; Tumhari Paakhi gets a new time slot.
As Life OK is set to transform its programming schedule with many new shows in the pipeline, the latest development which will disappoint the loyal fans of Ek Boond Ishq is that the show will be replaced by Rajshri Productions' upcoming show Meri Rang Mein Rangnewali. The show will acquire the 8.30 slot. Yes the show's star cast which has shot its major chunk will go on floor in the next month.
According to the sources, "Ek Boond Ishq could not live up to the expectation of its viewers and so the decision was taken to pull the plug on the show. The show has been given the final intimation to wrap up the show by first week of October."
Further our source continues, "The time slot of the show Tumhari Paakhi produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal will be changed to 9 instead of 9.30 and Balaji Telefilm's upcoming show Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh starring Harsh Chhaya, Sonali Bendre and Harsh Chhaya will take the time slot of 9.30."
