Buddha's preaching get him his first disciples in Zee TV's Buddha

Last week’s ‘enlightenment’ episode was indeed a visual treat for viewers in Dr B K Modi’s Buddha – Rajaon Ka Raja on Zee TV.

With Siddhartha (Himanshu Soni) attaining enlightenment as Buddha, he will now start his preaching, which will be known as the Middle Way. The path called as the Noble Eightfold Path of right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration, will allow for a direct confrontation with suffering as the means to overcome it. Buddha will get his companions in Kondanna and others who will form a Sangha to sow the seeds of awakening.

Buddha will get yet another disciple in a man who will be on the verge of ending his life. With Buddha teaching him the meaning of life, he will prostrate before him and become Buddha’s disciple.

Buddha will go on teach his disciples the five precepts of life i.e. not to kill, not to steal, not to engage in sexual misconduct, not to say untruthful things, and to not use any alcohol.

We tried calling Himanshu, but could not get through to him.

Siddhartha to get 'enlightenment' under the pipal tree in Zee TV's Buddha

The context of this week’s episode of Dr B K Modi’s Buddha – Rajaon Ka Raja on Zee TV is huge as Siddhartha (Himanshu Soni) will get enlightenment and will have a face lift, with a very positive aura coming out of him!!

Yes, the moment has finally come for Siddhartha wherein he will turn into Buddha. And incidentally, the day on which Siddhartha will get enlightenment will be the same day of his birth, that is Vishaka Poornima.

Here is the gist of the happenings in Buddha this weekend.

Siddhartha will be sure that he is travelling on the right path to seek answers. And his confidence will be boosted when Sujata (Piyali Munshi) will offer him kheer in a golden bowl. Siddhartha will recollect that all the Buddha in the past were given their last meal in a golden bowl. So in order to check whether he will get his answers on the day, he will go to the river side and would throw the bowl in the water. He would tell himself that he would become Buddha on that very day if his bowl would go upstream, without going with the current. He will be astonished to see his bowl rapidly move upstream and will soon get into a whirlpool and will land at the area where the other Buddhas’ bowls have been thrown away.

A confidence personified Siddhartha will sit under the tree to attain supreme knowledge. And his meditation which would last for 40 days will see him conquering ignorance by means of the Noble Eightfold Path. After learning that understanding is the key to liberation, Siddhartha would attain success in his Noble Path which he would call as ‘Aryamarga’. With each realization, the images formed around Siddhartha would dissolve and he will develop a bun on his head. Thus he will be taken to the path of enlightenment after sitting under the pipal tree.

Siddhartha on awakening, would know that he has found his way and his heart would be at ease now as now he would be Buddha.

We tried getting the thoughts of Ridhwana, Creative Producer, Buddha on the episode of Siddhartha’s enlightenment, but could not reach through to her.

Get ready to watch this path-breaking episode in Siddhartha’s life.

Siddhartha wins over the demonly alter-ego; conquers lust, fulfillment and regret in Zee TV's Buddha

B.K. Modi’s Buddha – Rajaon Ka Raja on Zee TV has been traversing the path of Siddhartha’s (Himanshu Soni) transformation into Buddha. And in this week’s episode, Siddhartha will fight a major battle with his alter ego, thus conquering lust, fulfillment and regret.

Siddhartha who has chosen a life of austerity will decide to not take even water. And this will alarm his companions, who will wish that he should soon find his right path. While walking on a river bank, Siddhartha will collapse owing to weakness and this will be when Sujata, played by Piyali Munshi will come to help him.

A source states, “Sujata will feed him a morsel of kheer, and soon after consuming it, Siddhartha will feel a bit energetic and will slowly regain consciousness.

Sujata will go on to impart the very important knowledge of staying fit by having food. She will tell him that if his stomach would be empty, his mind will not be able to seek the answers he wants. Siddhartha will then decide to get better in health and also to use meditation to nourish his body and mind.”

This week’s episode will see the major highpoint of Siddhartha walking deeper into the forest and choosing a banyan tree to sit under it for meditation in the hope of finding a new light which will help him solve the problems of humanity.

However, Siddhartha will face many hurdles while meditating under the pipal tree.

Our source adds, “While meditating, a large poisonous snake will appear and move past Siddhartha. However, Siddhartha will choose to meditate, ignoring any movement around him. The dangerous snake will hiss past Siddhartha’s body and will go back from where it came.”

Also, Siddhartha will have to overcome the frightening demon Mara (the demon inside a person), who would be against enlightenment. In order to prevent Siddhartha from becoming enlightened, Mara will send his three beautiful daughters named lust, fulfillment and regret. The three women will try their best to distract Siddhartha. They will sway around him, touch him all over, and will also talk to him about what they can do with him in his ears. Siddhartha however, will choose to meditate, thus ignoring the three negative energies. He will eventually succeed in shattering his alter ego and Siddhartha will open his eyes after conquering the three worldly desires. However, Mara in a fit of rage will promise to come back before vanishing in the dark.

Has Siddhartha attained the first level of enlightenment?
