It's been a great learning experience- Cast of Baawre
It surely came as a great shock to the cast and crew of Life OK’s Baawre when they were informed about the show going off air. The project that wrapped up its shooting schedule recently (28 August), will air its last episode on 5 September.
As the team bid each other a teary farewell we decided to catch up with the stars and let them talk about their journey in Baawre.
Firstly, lead Abhishek Rawat shared, “I was looking forward to Baawre. The prime reason being Sudhir Sharma (Producer) and Neelesh Mishra (Writer-Co Producer) who I believe have the right vision required on TV at the moment. Also since the show was based in Lucknow, which is also my hometown, everything excited me a lot.”
Talking about the show going off suddenly, he added, “There is no regret for I really got to learn a lot and enjoyed every bit of my time. The production house and the creative team was a great support throughout. I got to play a character so real and also am humbled by the popularity it achieved.”
Sharing her take on the show, Vinita Joshi averred, “This show was my first as a lead in mainstream GEC and I must say it was a wonderful experience. I got tremendous exposure through the show. It had been a school for me completely in terms of acting and personality development. Also I got to make the best of friends. Alka Amin, who played my daadi, has now become my mentor (smiles). I would also like to thank Sunshine Productions for making it so easy and warm for me.”
And finally Akhlaque Khan said, “It was a short but a very sweet journey. And most importantly it was a great opportunity to learn a lot. The makers did everything to make it a different show, but sadly it could not work as expected. But every one of us bonded so well, that the relationship will continue for life.”
We wishes the team all the very best!

Yamini and Nikumbh to marry in Life OK's Baawre!
With the show going off air, its happy ending for the show as Yamini and Nikumb will marry in the upcoming episodes.
As reported earlier that Sunshine Productions' popular show Baawre on Life OK is all set to bid adieu on September 5. The show which depicted a love story of an established singer Yamini (Vinita Joshi) and a music director cum lyricist Nikumbh (Abhishek Rawat) however, could not strike the chord with the viewers well.
The concept of the show though was promising, it failed to garner the attention of the audience and saw a dip in its numbers. Well to the fans of the show Baawre no need to get disappointed as the story will end on a good note.
The storyline will focus on the leads Nikumbh and Yamini who will get married with the consent of their family members. With the show ending on a good note the cast and crew of the show gathered to celebrate their last day shoot which happened on 28th of this month.
When contacted Abhishek Rawat who plays Nikumbh in the show he says, "Yes, we have shot our last episode. We did not have an actual celebration but the entire unit; cast and crew came along and cut the cake. The show will end with a happy ending with everyone agreeing to Yamini and Nikumb's marriage. Like it's said, all good things have to come to an end; our show has come to an end. For me, Baawre was an amazing experience."
We wish the team of Baawre all the best for their future endeavors!

"I am a smart buyer and pick very unique things." - Vinita Joshi
Pretty Vinita Joshi shares her love for shopping and likes to shop the most for clothes and bags.
We brings to you the 'Confessions of Tellywood Shopaholics.' This week we caught up with the pretty actress Vinita Joshi, who is currently seen as Yamini in Baawre on Life OK.
Here is Vinita sharing her shopping interests and her favorite shopping destination through this column.
Share your craze for shopping...
I love shopping, I am a true shopaholic as I not only shop for myself but also shop for my sisters and friends because they think that I am a smart buyer and pick very unique things.
How often do you go to shop?
I don't get time to go for shopping, so mostly I do window shopping.
What do you shop the most for?
Clothes, bags and all girlie things like cosmetics and all because I am a very girlie in real.
Where do you prefer to shop in Mumbai?
All malls in Mumbai
Your dream shopping destination?
I love to explore myself, so I want to go around the world and pick best things from there.
Quick Fire: What would you buy?
If given Rs. 10: Vada Pav
If given Rs. 100: Rickshawala as I travel very much. So if you give me 100 rupees I will travel by rickshaw instead of my own car.
If given Rs. 1000:I will save them.
If given Rs. 1 Lakh: Again will save them for the future and utilize it for something good.
If given Rs. 1 Crore: I want to do something for animals as I am a fond of animals. I want to build some shelter homes where all animals can be kept and a proper care is taken in the home.
Share how do you feel after shopping...
I feel great after shopping and very happy.

Nikumb to propose Yamini in Life OK's Baawre...
Holy Moly…exactly are the thoughts of the cast and crew of Life OK’s show Baawre.
Hardly three months into its airing, the serial has been axed, chopped and hacked by the channel.
As per media reports, Baawre will air its last episode on 5 September.
But any guesses why the channel decided to pull it off in such a short span of time? Any idea?
Well the good old nasty TRP guy gave no show to this show.
Lack of numbers and a not so impressive plot and cast spelt doom for Baawre, as per an industry expert. But still, we think three months pretty less time to judge the flow and success of any television project.
The channel could have shown more faith in the story (if no faith, then why launch it at all), and pressed the accelerator on marketing.
Anyways, what’s gone, is gone!!!
Its creator Sudhir Sharma from Sunshine Productions shared in a chat with us: “The channel and the production house wanted to experiment with something different and it was surely a beautiful one. And it’s definitely not viable for both if the ratings are not coming and hence the plug was pulled off. But we are happy and satisfied with the experience and have surely learnt a lot. Although not entirely but yes, the time slot (7pm) was definitely a big reason for the low ratings, but we need to experiment and try different shows or else TV will never change. We will surely get back with something interesting very soon.”
We sure you will Sudhir…energy to you!!!
Lead Akhlaque Khan aka Azam said, “It surely was disappointing when the news came to us but then life moves on. It was a great experience working with such a talented team and I must say we all got to learn a lot. I will sorely miss working with my Baawre cast and crew.”
Sad…but keep the ball rolling young man!!!
Well, if still anyone is interested to know what’s going to dish out in the coming episodes, read on.
We have earlier reported about Yamini (Vinita Joshi Thakkar) realising her love for Nikumb (Abhishek Rawat) and the latest news is that Nikumb too will realise the same. Too much realisation, we say.
Moving on, Yamini proposed to Nikumb but he declined her proposal saying that he wasn't ready for love however now he will express his love for her in a heroic way.
Nikumb will break into Yamini's room through her window and say the three golden words 'I Love You'.
Indeed a romantic beginning…for the couple not the show…it’s ending as we said.
We have further learnt that given the sudden off air development, the creatives are yet to chalk out the ending plot. But we bet it’s going to be a happy ending, like always!!!
It is also being said that Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming starring Sonali Bendre in most probability will replace Baawre, but we cannot confirm the development at the moment.
All our efforts to reach out to Channel Head, Ajit Thakur proved futile.

Life OK's Baawre to go off air on September 5!
Life OK's famous show Baawre which was launched just a few months ago will air its last episode of September 5.
Life OK's promising show Baawre which had aired its first episode on June 2 this year is all set to wrap up and air its last on September 5.
The story was based on two individuals who initially hated each other but fell for each other over a period of time. Vinita Joshi and Abhishek Rawat play the leads in the show. The show is produced by Sunshine Productions.
Well, our source informs, "The main reason for pulling this show down was low TRP ratings and also it did not create any stir among the audience's."
Writer Nilesh Mishra says, "It is the channel's decision. I do not know anything about it."
When got in touch with Vinita Joshi, she says, "Yes, Baawre is going off air. The main reason like everyone knows is because of the low TRPs. But personally, my friends circle and people abroad are liking the show. So it is not that it is a bad show. We had started off really well and everyone were looking up to it. But personally I feel the time slot worked against the show. But it is okay. Everyone wants to make a good show and I am taking this too very positively. Our makers and the entire crew worked really hard to deliver this show. We had shot our initially episodes in Lucknow and all in all it was an amazing experience for me. I am happy with the kind of exposure I have got and I have learnt a lot. I have made some best of friends too. I have full faith on God and I am sure He has something good in stock for me."
Male protagonist Abhishek Rawat says, I have not been informed about the progress as of now."
