The beautiful actress Raveena Tandon, who has been applauded for her acting skills in many movies, is all set to inspire women through her chat show Simply Baatein with Raveena. Raveena like other actors is all set to set a benchmark for the people through this show which airs on Sony Pal.
Let's see what Raveena has shared...
Telling us more about the show Simply Baatein... Raveena says, "This show is special. My show Simply Baatein with Raveena on channel Sony Pal is a woman centric show. The common man and the viewers who bring the maximum TRPs includes housewives also who watch TV. The show's main motto is to reinforce such women. Women who look after the household work throughout the day and later just to relax a bit they watch their favorite shows and this show is aimed towards women. I think that is very special to me because ultimately me being a woman I do understand what women have to face. So I think many such shows can be made which deals with issues relating to woman."
As this is a chat show, so whom will Raveena invite on her show and what will be the first question she would ask to the guest on her show? This is what she says, "It is not a star based show, it is a show projecting the life stories of common woman dealing their issues and problems, so our main stars are the audience and we invite them on the show to discuss their problems. To solve their problems we have our expert panelists who will advise and aid them in dealing with their problems. I think this show is very important for such women."
Talking about the 'PAL' moment Raveena says, "There are many moments in every woman's life. To elaborate it more it can be anything like your child's first birthday, checking his/her report card, your achievement in anything that has fetched you a reward, the wishes of your parents and their love etc. Everything is special so women are basically emotional and for them there is no such special moment in fact they cherish all the moments happening through their life."
When asked the beautiful actress if she has ever done any bold or manly thing or not, Raveena says, "It is not written anywhere that women can't take up a bold profession or enter into any field dominated by men. Today even women are established as they have become more assertive and firm. We have seen women driving trucks, auto rickshaws and they have made it in to the aeronautics as well. Late astronaut Kalpana Chawla has set an example for a few women along with Sunita Menon. Today top doctors, mathematicians etc. most of them are women. So there is no specific field set for women and especially in our country, revered boxer and a champion Mary Kom and few other who have bagged a gold medal have clinched a mark higher in their work. Our Indian women have propagated their name in various fields. Whenever I step out and see a traffic constable being a woman, I immediately click a picture and tag them as 'The Hero' and I tweet it because for me it is a proud moment."

Gossip: Why was Raveena Tandon 'miffed' at the Sony Pal launch event?
The grand launch of MSM’s new GEC offering Sony Pal was a starry affair with some of the most popular faces performing on the stage. The channel which focuses on women empowerment will see a bouquet of nine shows each representing and celebrating womanhood. Apart from roping Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla as the brand ambassador for the channel, diva Raveena Tandon will also be seen hosting a show on the new broadcasting platform.
Raveena will be seen hosting the talk show Simply Baatein (GR8 Productions) where female TV and Bollywood actresses will get into a personal and detailed conversation. Also viewers will get a chance to be on the stage and share their personal life difficulties with Raveena and find solution with the help of some experts.
Now moving away from the detail of the show, we are here to tell you that the beautiful actress had a rather disappointing time at the launch of the channel.
The gala affair which had popular TV actresses coming together to perform had Raveena performing for a minute at the end, as per the creatives’ plan. The concluding act had all the nine faces of the different TV shows coming together for a grand performance. Raveena was to be a part of the same act. This performance was lined up post 10:30 pm but the actress was called for the shoot since afternoon.
Waiting for almost 8 hours got her in a really bad mood and her manager was heard complaining and threatening the organizers.
“She will leave right now. Why weren’t we informed about the delay in the plan? It’s really disappointing to wait for so long,” her manager was heard saying.
Soon Raveena walked in looking ravishing and smilingly gave her interviews like a true professional and then swiftly moved back to her vanity van. When somebody pointed out that she should head towards the hall, she stated that she wasn’t needed there at the moment.
Well we know that being a TV event, the small screen actresses would bring in more viewership with their power packed performance but then keeping somebody waiting surely pricks a sharp pin.
Raveena did not revert to our calls and messages.

Sakshi Tanwar out; Raveena Tandon to host Simply Baatein on Sony Pal
Recently, We reported about the nine shows that will be launched on MSM’s new GEC Sony Pal airing from 1 September. Apart from seven fiction shows, the channel will also serve two non-fiction offerings as weekend specials.
Sakshi Tanwar, who has been a Sony TV face with her popular show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, was to host a chat show Simply Baatein. The series would have popular female celebrities from TV and Bollywood getting candid with the host and sharing some unknown facets about their life.
And now here comes a new development. We have learnt that Sakshi has been dropped from the project and Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon will be anchoring the show.
There were reports of Raveena being the face of Sony Pal, but Juhi Chawla was chosen over Raveena.
But Raveena’s association with the channel will continue with her hosting Simply Baatein. This will be Raveena’s second outing as a host after her stint in Issi Ka Naam Zindagi (NDTV Imagine).
Shares a source, “The channel and the production house wanted a face that could reach out to the masses and connect with them instantly. Also with the show lauding women power, Raveena fit the bill perfectly. With the channel already in talks with her to be its face, she was finalised for this show instead.”
Simply Baatein is produced by Shashi and Anu Ranjan under their new production banner GR8.
Also Balaji Telefilms has got its show’s final title in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. The leads for the show are yet to get finalised, as per sources.
Interestingly, the show will be represented, supervised and handled by yesteryear superstar Jeetendra and his wife Shobha Kapoor. Their daughter and TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor apparently has taken a backseat in the project and has let her parents work on it.
