Anything is possible if you believe in yourself - Rajniesh Duggall
Winning is not new for Rajniesh Duggall. The model turned actor has had a winning spree with the contests Mr. India 2003, Mr. International and the Kingfisher Model of the year 2005. Now the man adds yet another feather to his cap by winning the Season 5 of Endemol India’s Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (Colors TV).
We got into a conversation with the jubilant Rajniesh soon after he was declared the winner.
How does it feel to be the winner? Did you think that you could win?
It feels really great to be the winner of this ultimate adrenaline based stunt reality show. I am really happy. I have worked really hard. You have to be calm and be prepared for anything when it comes to the tasks. When I entered the semi finals, I envisioned myself that I will win. Because my motto is if you enter, you enter to win. First position it is, not second nor third.
Tell us about your experience in the finale task? How difficult was it?
The finale task was very tricky. I wouldn’t say it was one of the most difficult tasks for me, but this was challenging in many ways. Roughly we had to get a key, then get on to a helicopter which later dropped us into a river. Then there were nets, bombs and every masala a typical Bollywood climax will have. On top of that it rained naturally. The finale was very testing but that is the whole point.
You said the finale task wasn’t as difficult as one of your previous tasks, which one are you referring to?
All the tasks were difficult and demanding. One that particularly stands out is this one task which involved sixty snakes and a crocodile. There was a skull kept next to the crocodile and we had to retrieve it. I was really scared of snakes and I was shaken up all over. It was mentally very challenging.
Initially what made you join Khatron Ke Khiladi?
I have always wanted to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi. I was fascinated by the tasks and stunts. My only concern initially was with the segments where one of the tasks involved eating caterpillars. So when Colors approached me, all I asked was will I have to eat caterpillars or such stuff. But thankfully they said no, such stunts are not there this time. I went and talked with Vikram sir (Vikram Bhatt) and he encouraged me to take part saying that this is really a good opportunity. I believe a good reality show in a well-liked channel makes you popular, especially now that you are a winner. And if I had to eat any caterpillars I would have said no.
Who was your biggest inspiration?
I myself am my inspiration. The thought of winning made me go forward. The winning spirit I had since my childhood is my inspiration. Whenever I feel dejected, I would sit in a calm place and keep asking myself, ‘who is that guy who won Mr India?’ ‘Who is that guy who had won Mr International?’ ‘Who is the winner of Kingfisher Model of the Year?’ Thus I motivated myself. Apart from that my wife Pallavee and our four-year-old daughter Teeya are my biggest encouragers. Teeya loves animals, especially cheetahs and when she heard that I am going to contest in segments where these animals are involved she was exceptionally happy. Rohit sir has always been motivating and encouraging.
What have you learned from your journey in Khatron Ke Khiladi?
It has been a great journey. I learned a lot of things. The tasks were made in such a way as to test both the physical as well as the mental stamina of a person. I have always had a stronger mind but sometimes a slight hesitation was there. But now that has changed and it is replaced with the ‘let’s do it’ attitude. Even when performing the tasks which involved snakes, I realized that fear is a state of mind. Once we focus ourselves to do something, all the fear vanishes.
Whom did you hate and whom did you like in KKK?
It was a good batch. There were some people whom I chose to ignore rather than waste time in hating them. Otherwise I made a lot of friends especially Salman (Salman Yusuff khan). He is a great performer and has put in a lot of effort. I evolved myself by learning from him.
Who were the other biggest challengers?
I think Gurmeet, Salman and Nikitin had the chances of winning. Salman and Gurmeet’s mental strength is really great and Nikitin has a great physical stamina because of his training in mix martial arts.
Do you think that the show’s makers were biased?
No, I don’t think so. Everyone and every channel have their own favorites but there was no bias here. The show went on entirely based on performance. Even if you have favorites, whomsoever performs well and comes first has to be the winner. There is no space for favoritism.
What are the present projects you are involved in?
I am currently shooting for a new film Ho Gaya Direct Ishq. Also talks for some other reality shows are on. But nothing has been finalized.
Finally, what have you got to say to the audience?
Anything is possible if you believe in yourself. That’s what I have to say.

Rajneesh Duggal who is a model turned actor participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster has won this daring stunt based show. He was a sporty person in real life and wanted to show this side to the audience he participated in the show.
He shares his journey on Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster and future plans with us.
Has the feeling sunk in that you have won Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster which is a daring stunt based show? Did you expect that you will win?
The feeling has sunk in but it will completely sink in after it comes on Television because as off now on my family member, my close friends and the media knows about it. It's really a great feeling that for the first time I participated in a reality show on Television and I won that show. I won't say that I expected but as I have participated in the show so I had promised myself to give 110 percent and to complete all the stunts without giving up in any tough situation. As I come from a sporty background, I used to push myself to do stunts and I tried extent my bar. So yes I won't say I did not expect because I wanted to win this show and give my best. I won and the feeling is amazing.
Are you adventurous in real life?
Yes, I am very adventurous person in real life; I am an athlete and as I said I am a very sporty person. I used to do stunts in schools and college for fun. I remember when I was in college, me and my friends took two jeeps which were running parallel to each other with a great speed and I jumped from one jeep to another. The reason of participating in the show was to show this other side of mine because I was always seen as a horror film hero and before that as a model.
Did you undergo any rigorous practice before coming on this show?
I actually wanted to do the practice before performing in this stunt based show but I was the last contestant who was finalized at the last minute. So I had only 12 to 15 days before going to Cape Town and that is the reason I didn't get time to prepare myself. But I was confident as I was physically as well as mentally fit. Physical power is required to do stunts and mentally because I know there will be lot of metal pressure to do stunts. So I didn't hesitate before doing any stunt and kept myself calm.
Where do you see yourself after winning and are you looking forward to come back on Television?
I am getting many offers from Television as well as from films and I am a person who is open to all. In today's time there is no difference between television industry and film industry in fact today television is more famous as the audience is more attached to Television. I never say No to any roles or work, There is a film in the pipeline for which I will start shooting for it soon.
What was your biggest phobia and were you able to overcome that fear after this show?
Ab toh kuch phobia raha nai after being announced as the winner of this show (Laugh) but before coming on this show my biggest phobia was reptiles. I did many stunts with reptiles. Now that my phobia is over I can take a snake in my hand and dance.
Which was the one thing you liked about yourself the most while you were performing the stunts?
I think that my cool and calm nature was my biggest strength while performing stunts and it really helped me to do the stunts. Usually people get angry and they are agitated while doing a difficult stunts which results into lots of pressure. I always kept my mind cool while performing.
Which is toughest stunt amongst the stunts you have performed in the show?
The finale stunt was the toughest stunt and bhagwan ne mushkilein khadi kar di as it started raining during our stunt to increase the difficulties. But it was fun and I managed to do it.
Who was the toughest contestant on the show you who gave you tough fight?
Initially Gurmeet Choudhary and Nikitin Dheer were the toughest contestants who were also with me in the finale and after Karanvir Bohra and Teejay entered the show they also turned out to be toughest contestants.
What will you do with the cash money you have won?
I have left it on my wife Pallavi as I know that they will reach where they should be. I will send them for the social cause which we support and rest ghar par aayi laxmi hai so will keep it safely.

Double treat for Ajaz Khan!
Actor Ajaz Khan recently got an opportunity to meet the honorable Governor of the state Uttarakhand.
Actor Ajaz Khan who was last seen in a daring stunt based show Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster is enjoying a double treat these days. As Ajaz is quite popular actor down in South, the actor it seems is back in action and has started shooting for a film.
While shooting for a film Ajaz was elated to meet Dalai Lama followers. Ajaz with his tapori language and funny antics used to entertain people in the Bigg Boss house, looking at his same behavior the followers complimented him for his comical acts. He tweeted about the same which states, "While shooting I met these Dalai Lama followers and feel proud when they told me I make them laugh and they love me (smiles)."

While the sensational dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is all set to come back with a bang with its 13 final contestants along with their choreographers, the show will see a confluence episode with that of Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor to grace Khatron Ke Khiladi's grand finale
Ajay Devgn and his leading lady Kareena Kapoor will appear as special guests on the final episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK)season 5. The duo will promote their upcoming movie Singham 2 which is being directed by Rohit Shetty, who also happens to be the host of KKK. The trio will be seen interacting with other participants on stage where the winner's name will be announced.
This season of KKK has generated immense interest among Indian audience especially due to eclectic mix of participants ranging from Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon to Ranvir Shorey and Teejay Sidhu.

Pooja Gor on kicking spree...
Actress Pooja Gor is looking forward to play football as it interests her a lot.
Pretty Pooja Gor who was last seen in Colors' show Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster is actively taking interest in outdoor sport Football. Pooja has decided to indulge herself in playing a sport Football which will keep her fit and fine.
Pooja is excited to join the sports club to play football, "There is one sports club near my house which is going to have a summer camp. I will be taking part in that and would be playing football. Actually one of my friends has taken it up and she has asked me to join in," she says.
She is not keen on going to the gym to keep herself fit as other outdoor sports interests her Pooja says, "My friend told me to come and watch and when I did that, I found it quite interesting. I'm not the person who loves to go to the gym. I like doing some sports or aerobics so from next week I'll be playing football for a month."
When asked Pooja about what's happening at her career front she says, "Well currently I'm hosting Savdhaan India @11 and waiting for a good role to come my way. As you know me, I always believe in doing something which I've never done. So let's see what comes my way."

Stunts on Colors' Khatron Ke Khiladi get 'scary'
It’s the ‘survival of the fittest’ at Khatron Ke Khiladi, the popular Colors’ adventure based reality show!!
And the level to which the contestants can bare adversities will be keenly watched!!
For Debina Bonerjee, Rajneeish Duggal and Ranvir Shorey, the task will be very different and tough. They will have to get inside a pillory and face the gushing water directly on their faces.
A source states, “The task will be relatively tough for Ranvir as he is already plagued by injuries. And for Debina who is known to do the water stunts well, this particular task seems to be a cakewalk.”
And for the partnered stunt, Rajneeish and Deana, Nikitin and Ranvir will have a long way to drive before they reach their goals.
The source further elaborates, “The two people will have to drive through a rugged course uphill and downhill which would have explosions across their path. The partner driving the car would be blind-folded while the partner would be giving instructions to guide the driver through the journey.”

The handsome looking actor and the bindaas ‘bhai’ Ajaz Khan, known for his stint in Bigg Boss, recently got eliminated from Colors’ reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. After his eviction he spoke to us.
“The journey in the show has been very good. I got to visit the most beautiful place Cape Town. This show made me come out of my phobia of snakes, height and water. Definitely the show has lot of risk factor par risk mein hi maza hai. I did this series only for my fans who wanted me to see doing something different. It was indeed a life time experience.”
Which was the toughest stunt for you? “The toughest stunt was to stay in ice. It was very cold but I broke world record by collecting 99 glow sticks during the task. Till now only few people have managed to get 60 sticks,” claimed Ajaz.
Who is the strongest contestant in the show? “I think it’s Gurmeet Choudhary, Salman Y Khan and Karanvir Bohra.”
Don’t you think you were bullied a lot in the show? If yes then why do you think so? “Again the same story of insecurity. It all happened because of Kushal and Gauahar’s conspiracy. They brain washed everyone and said all the negative things about me. But at the end everybody become my good friends. All the contestants very well knew that I was the entertainer and would have given lot of footage to the show. As a matter of fact after my entry, show’s TRPs shot-up so all this politics didn’t really bother me.”
But did you participate in the show only to impress Rohit Shetty, the host? “I think everybody wanted him to impress. I am talented and I wanted to amaze everyone from Rohit Shetty to Colors to Viacom 18 so what’s the harm in it?”
So are you doing Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2? “I was supposed to but due to some reason it’s not happening now. But Rohit sir has promised me that he will surely take me in his upcoming projects and he is a man of his words. He’s a great host, mentor and motivates each and every contestant in the show.”

His tapori language has made him popular on TV and now being eliminated from the thrilling stunt based show Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster, Ajaz Khan talks to us about his experience, fears and future plans in conversation with us.
Actor Ajaz Khan who was recently seen as one of the contestant in stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Block Buster on Colors has been evicted from the show. As Ajaz earlier was a part of a reality show Bigg Boss Saath 7 on the same channel, he was thus approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster. While Ajaz was being criticized by the housemates during his stay in the house for his rowdy language but his daring attitude made him popular on the show.

How was your experience being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster?
It was a great experience being a part of this show. It was life time experience and every one must experience something like this at least once in their life.
How did you made up your mind to participate in such a daring stunt based show?
It is always said that you must take risks in your life, without that you don't get anything. So I thought of trying something different and thought of taking risks and so I made my mind of participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster.
What was your biggest fear? And were you successful in overcoming your fear through this show?
My biggest fear was to get locked up in a place where I can't breathe. Since I am a claustrophobic, I was able overcome my fear to some extent.
Which was the most difficult stunt amongst the stunts you have performed?
The last stunt where we had to lie down in the huge plastic bag and there were 1000 of cockroaches in the plastic bag. And eventually the bag is put in the coffin along with the cockroaches. It was the most promising experience of my life. Then the other stunt which I remember was we were locked up in a box which was variably hanging with the help of a crane and inside the box we were showered with cubes of ice and we had to untie all the flags within a given time limit. These were the most difficult stunts.
You were a wild card contestant and you could only survive for 3 weeks, what is reason that you got eliminated so soon?
I was wild card contestant because I am very wild (laughs) actually as I told you that I have claustrophobia so the creative thought of giving me the stunt which will be very difficult for me. I was kept in a huge plastic bag where I was not able to breath and on top of that they kept me in the coffin. If that stunt was planned properly to execute then I think I would have been a tough competitor and would have survived for more than weeks.
Have you done any daring stunt in your real life before being a part of this show?
I have done many stunts in my life. As I am an actor from South and I am a Bad boy actor there, so I have done many action scenes in the films. I have even got a cut in my leg while performing the stunt during the shoot. Thus I was very confident in the show.
How was your equation with the other contestants who was already there on the show from the beginning?
Basically Deana was my good friend as we came together in the show. Later Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu became my friends. While I had a great time with these above contestants however, I shared a cordial equation with rest of the other contestants.
What are your future plans after this show?
Currently I am shooting a Bollywood film Love day and I am busy in that. I don't want to do any fiction shows on Television but I will definitely want to be a part of the reality show. Right now I can't take up any show but I am really looking forward to be a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa next season because I don't to give everything together to my audience. I want them to wait and see me after small gaps.

'Khatron Ke...' has given me a lot of exposure: Geeta Tandon
Stunt woman Geeta Tandon, who got eliminated along with actress Gauhar Khan from Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr ka Blockbuster, says her stint on the stunt-based reality show was an "exciting" experience.
"'Khatron Ke Khiladi' has been a very exciting phase in my life. Before the show, I had done stunts for the artists. But 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' gave me the platform to work alongside the artists and not for them and that turned out to be great fun," Tandon said in a statement.
"The show has given me a lot of exposure and thankfully, I have scored a great opportunity to further my future as a result of the show," she added.
Also, the show helped her fulfill her dream of taking her art and stunts internationally.
Seen as one of the strong contenders for the title, Geeta performed week after week, but she couldn't survive the 12th stunt, which led to her ouster from the show.
Geeta shared a great rapport with the show host and her mentor Rohit Shetty and she believes she would not have survived this long without the guidance and motivation from her "guru".
"'Khatron Ke Khiladi' has been a very exciting phase in my life. Before the show, I had done stunts for the artists. But 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' gave me the platform to work alongside the artists and not for them and that turned out to be great fun," Tandon said in a statement.
"The show has given me a lot of exposure and thankfully, I have scored a great opportunity to further my future as a result of the show," she added.
Also, the show helped her fulfill her dream of taking her art and stunts internationally.
