Sony TV’s new show finally gets its female lead

First it was Sargun Mehta and now Shraddha Arya walking out of, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions upcoming show for ‘Sony TV’, titled “Dil Ki Nazar Se… Khoobsurat”. As the hunt for the female lead was on, the latest report is about, Soumya Seth, being finalized for playing the lead in the show. After much discussion between the channel and the production house, Soumya’s name was decided for the role. Soumya is currently being seen in ‘Channel V’s’ show, “The Serial”. Now with the makers having got their female lead, hope the show goes on the floors soon. Earlier Sargun Mehta had refused to be a part of the show, due to creative differences between the production house and her. Everything was fine with Shraddha Mehta, the second choice of the makers, until financial matters came up, resulting in Shraddha too opting for the exit route. Hope that at least for the third time, Soumya proves luck for them and the show sees a smooth sailing.

A new show 'Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat' to launch soon

As it was reported earlier that the next show on ‘Sony TV’ by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal is all set for a big launch, early in 2013. Since a long time now, the show is in making and many casting changes were witnessed. Today, some exclusive stuff has been gathered for sharing with the readers. Tentatively, the title of the show was ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and finally it has been christened as ‘Dil Ki Nazar Se… Khoobsurat’. A love triangle twist would be seen on this show between the leads, Rohit Khurana, Shraddha Arya and Abhishek Malik. Our reliable sources inform us that the story of the show would start with childhood memories. Some child actors would be seen in that sequence. Ansh from the famous show “Punar Vivah” has been roped in by makers for playing the childhood of one of the leads.
