Disco King Bappi's gold gift for 'Indian Idol Junior' contestant
The ever-so-cheerful Bappi Lahiri turned teary-eyed on the sets of popular music reality show "Indian Idol Junior" when a young contestant sang the number "Aao tumhe chand pe le". He was so moved that he decided to gift young Sugandha a gold chain.
The veteran composer-singer, known for his love for gold ornaments, was on the sets of the show for an evening dedicated to him.
After some electrifying performances from the contestants, Sugandha took to the stage and sang "Aao tumhe chand pe le", which moved Bappi Da so much that he could not hold back his tears.
"I am so moved by your performance that I cannot express it in words. As a token of appreciation I will send you a gold chain during the next episode," he said on the show, informed a source.
Judges Vishal and Shekhar too became emotional, while Sugandha smiled ear to ear after getting a positive response.

King Khan to promote his movie on Indian Idol Juniors...
Television is one of the strongest and a very useful medium for promoting movies. With the release date of the movie Chennai Express round the corner, the King Khan a.k.a Shahrukh Khan will be seen promoting his movie on the singing reality show Indian Idol Juniors on Sony TV.
Earlier we had seen him promoting his movie on the shows Comedy Nights with Kapil, Dance India Dance Super Moms and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. On the current updates our sources from the production house informed us, "Shahrukh Khan will be seen promoting Chennai Express on Indian Idol Juniors."
This particular episode will air soon next weekend.
Well apart from this we also came to know that Shah Rukh Khan will make an appearance once again along with Rohit Shetty on the show Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors.
We hear that he extremely loves the show Comedy Nights With Kapil and he thought to come back on the show once again. He also had expressed his feelings for the show on the social networking site Twitter on how much he enjoyed on the show the last time he made an appearance.
It read, "@Kapil Sharma thanx for making me happy. Give my love again to mummyji. May ur show be the best ever. U r a riot!!"

The King of Disco Bappi Da recently visited the set of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Junior for an evening dedicated to him.
He set the stage on fire with his performance on Oh La La from the movie Dirty Picture. Even our Judges Vishal-Shekhar and Shreya couldn’t control them and went up on stage to perform with Bappi Da. Well it is the right occasion to sizzle the stage as the original singers of the song Shreya Ghoshal and Bappi Da along with music composers of the song Vishal-Shekhar were present on the stage of Indian Idol Junior.

The Top 10 singing wonders on Sony TV's Indian Idol Junior will showcase songs of different 'Ras'. Sankalp will get the show to a great start with 'Hasya ras', singing 'Pag ghoongru' which will have the audience dancing out of their seats.
Sugandha will steal everyone's heart with 'Prem ras' singing 'Lag ja gale' whereas Debanjana will sing 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' to showcase 'Bhakti ras'.
But the highlight of the show will be the three judges who will mesmerize everyone with songs from their favourite 'Ras'. While Vishal will croon an English song from his band, Shekhar will go desi and sing his recently launched Marathi single 'Sawali Tujha'. The beautiful Shreya Ghoshal will steal everyone's heart with a bengali song sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Karan Wahi goes "funny" in Indian Idol Junior
Karan Wahi will be seen at his “funny” best in the upcoming gala episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s singing reality show Indian Idol Junior.
The humorous host cracked one joke after the other, much to the amusement of the judges. That’s not all, Karan sported a unique look for the gala episode imitating actor Manoj Kumar’s style and throughout the episode covered his face with his hand.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed his entry but it later backfired at him when he opened his bag of PJ’s and all the judges and contestants covered their faces in the same style and requested him to stop. Seems like this gala episode is going to be a fun filled one with Karan’s funny jokes and imitation act.
