As you all know Farah Khan had replaced Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 8, when Salman left to shoot for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We hear that during this time Farah Khan had signed a contract with COLORS and the contract stated that she would judge/host another show with the channel.

As a source close to the channel reveals, “Farah Khan has a contract with the channel and she was supposed to host the next season of Bigg Boss. However, the channel is thinking to call Salman Khan for the next season as well. So to keep their word and keeping in mind the contractual terms, the channel has thought of getting Farah Khan on board to judge the remaining part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded.”

If this is true, it is a great move by the channel and with the show continuing to have a good TRP, having Farah on board will be a plus point as Bigg Boss 8’s TRPs increased in Farah’s reign as the host. Kapil Sharma 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ poster

The first look poster of funnyman Kapil Sharma's debut Bollywood film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' is out.

The stand up-comedian, who has been missing from his popular comedy TV show for while, took to Twitter to share the poster of his first film.

Starring Kapil,34, as the lead, the film also features, Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram and Varun Sharma in prominent roles. The poster sees, the comedian dressed up as a groom donning a sherwani, surrounded by his four supposed love interests. Arbaaz, who was last seen in ‘Dabangg 2’, is seemingly playing the character of a local don. ‘Fukrey’ actor Varun sticks to his typically funny gesture in the poster.

Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the film’s first trailer will be out on August 13. The movie is scheduled for a September 25 release.

I will keep visiting India: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

NEW DELHI: Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who believes music and sports can strengthen ties between India and Pakistan, says he will continue to visit India despite problems.

On Thursday, the "Main jahaan rahun" and "O re piya" singer was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in a case of alleged forex violation. In 2011, he was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence following a day's detention at the airport for carrying undisclosed foreign currency totalling more than $100,000. But Rahat remains undeterred and says now "there are no issues". "There was the issue in 2011. The Enforcement Directorate called us again for some pending queries. We tried our best to fulfil them. Thanks to God, they were satisfied. Now there are no issues. I will keep visiting India like before," Rahat told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

The singer, who is visiting India after a four-year gap, is currently in the country to celebrate the success of his songs in Bollywood films like 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' and 'Drishyam'. "Music has no boundaries. Music and sports can play a strong role in strengthening bilateral ties. And they have already done it. These things matter a lot, so they should be given more importance," he stressed. Speaking positively on the "musical and cultural" relations between India and Pakistan, he said "certain people" were trying to put chains on the blossoming bilateral ties. "The musical and cultural relations may not be appreciated by certain people, so they are trying to put chains. But it's a bad thing. It's not right. He pointed out that many Pakistanis had relatives in India and vice versa. They travel from India to Pakistan. From Karachi, people come to India to meet their relatives."

Rahat, whose track "Zaruri tha" is getting massive response in India, credits Bollywood's Bhatt camp for its growing popularity. The song has been featured in the film 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', which is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. "The song is a part of my album 'Back 2 Love', which was released in 2014. In the Indian film industry, a good song has a huge platform… (I am hoping) it will get more popularity. It's all possible because of Mahesh Bhatt. All credit goes to the Bhatt banner," he said. "I started off with Pooja Bhatt's film 'Paap' and since then we have shared a great relationship," added the crooner, who lent his melodious voice to the song "Mann ki lagan" for the John Abraham-Udita Goswami starrer 'Paap'.

Rahat also revealed that a new album was in the making, which may see the light of day later this year. "There is a new album coming out in the end of this year. We are doing the listing of the album right now." On the musical style, Rahat said that the yet untitled album was based on Punjabi songs. "The new album will have 70 percent Punjabi songs and the rest will be in Hindi. There will be songs on the lines of 'Mai tenu samjhawan ki'. No name has been finalised for this album yet," he added.

Director Rajkumar Hirani Injured In A Bike Mishap

Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood. In an unfortunate incident, Hirani met with a bike accident this morning. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati hospital in Bandra and has been reported to be fine now.

 

Hirani reportedly fell off a motorbike, injured his jaw and ended up with a gash on the chin. On being contacted, a hospital official told IANS: “He is getting discharged. He is absolutely fine and nothing serious.”

It's an achievement for Alia Bhatt to be compared to Kareena Kapoor Khan, says actor Shahid Kapoor.

At the trailer launch of their upcoming romantic comedy "Shaandaar", Shahid was asked about the similarities between the two women, since he has worked with both of them.

"First of all, it's a big compliment for Alia that she's compared with Kareena, since she's an extremely established actress and has done some notable work. I don't see any similarity between the two, since I feel Alia is an original actress and so is Kareena," Shahid said.

"I did 'Jab We Met' with Kareena many years ago, and now I'm doing 'Shaandaar' with Alia. The only common aspect is that I'm doing a love story. But other than that, I think both are phenomenal actors. Both of them are fantastic in their own ways," he said.

Shahid also spoke about how Alia agreed to do another of their film "Udta Punjab" in just two days despite the film's dark subject.

"I think Alia has her own journey, making some brave decisions. In the past 15-20 years, I haven't seen any other actress taking such brave decisions."

Kareena is also part of the project directed by Abhishek Chaubey.

"Shaandaar", directed by Vikas Bahl of "Queen" fame, is being produced by Phantom Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma has been caught in another controversy after his Twitter spat with ‘Deshdrohi’ actor Kamal R Khan last month. This time the ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ host was accused by former ‘Bigg Boss7′ contestant Ajaz Khan of not airing his episode nor taking his calls.
Ajaz Khan, who shot an episode with Kapil Sharma for ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ a couple of months ago, has accused him of not airing the episode while both of them were present for an album launch in Mumbai.
In a video shown by a leading news channel, Ajaz can be seen accusing Kapil publicly. Interrupting Kapil Sharma, Ajaz said, “I thought you were a good man. I messaged you, tweeted you and even called you. But you did not answer anywhere. I was called as a celebrity and I am a celebrity. My script was changed but then I asked you and added my own dialogues. Tell me the truth.”
To this Kapil kept on saying, “We will soon show your gag.”
Kapil Sharma further tried to calm down Ajaz with a hug but it seemed Ajaz Khan was not going to take no for an answer.
“As an actor you should have at least replied to me. Everyone knew about it, I tweeted. You replied to Kamaal Khan who abused you but not to me,” Ajaz further said.
The star comedian couldn’t say anything but this, “We will air your show soon.” He also explained that at times certain episodes are shot for banks and aired according to the film’s release dates.

Fear Factor—Khatron Ke Khiladi: Gauahar threatens to quit if Ajaz enters the show

Will the actress really do so, now that Ajaz is a part of the reality show after her boyfriend Kushal Tandon opted out?

Ajaz Khan, last seen in Bigg Boss, is now a part of Fear Factor — Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Interestingly, lovebirds Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon, who were also seen in Bigg Boss with Ajaz, have been shooting Fear Factor in Cape Town. However, the latest development is that Kushal has exited the show because of a shoulder injury. Says a source, "Kushal was not supposed to participate, but he eventually did. Now after this latest injury, he was left with no choice but to exit the show as advised by the doctors."

Coming back to Ajaz, he was often accused for creating misunderstandings between the couple as he had a soft corner for Gauahar. And his entry couldn't have been timed any better.

Like in Bigg Boss, Ajaz will enter KKK soon after Kushal's exit. According to sources, Gauahar has vowed that she will exit the show if Ajaz enters. So, will she opt out? We'll have to wait and see.

Mahek Chahal wants a non-Bollywood dulha

Actor Mahek Chahal wants to get married to someone outside the Bollywood film industry. The model-turned-actor and Big Boss 5 runner up was recently in Jaipur for a private event. Soon after her stint with the Bigg Boss Season 5, the leggy lass moved to Norway. But now she is back and all set to announce some new projects in Bollywood. "Recently I did an episode of Nach Baliye. As far as films are concerned, negotiations are on. In a month's time, I hope I will be able to announce something big. I might as well accept an offer of a dance reality show." However, she refused to divulge more details about the show.

Seen in a couple of Bollywood films, Mahek made a mark for herself with a few item numbers including Sajna Ve Sajna in Kareena Kapoor starrer Chameli and Le Le Maza in Salman starrer Wanted. Though Bigg Boss gave her publicity but the actor does not want to be a part of the show again. "I have no desire whatsoever to be a part of the madness again even though I learnt a lot."

When asked reason for this, she said, "Actually there are various reasons and long distance was one of them. I moved back to Norway to be with my family. Gauhar Khan-Kushal Tandon Turn Enemies On Khatron Ke Khiladi!

 

Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon, the very famous love birds of Bigg Boss Saath 7, will now turn into enemies as they both have been roped in for Khatron Ke Khiladi, which will be hosted by the Golmaal director Rohit Shetty. Gauhar and Kushal, who had met on the reality show Bigg Boss 7, had fell head over heals for each other and had declared their love for each other on the national television. The production team has roped in Kushal and they are in continuous talks with his lady love Gauhar Khan. This season of Khatron Ke Khiladi will see a total of 14 celebrities, a mix of boys and girls, facing their fears by taking part in challenging tasks and competing against each other. The same would be for Kushal and Gauhar as they will have to compete against each other and prove themselves. Gauhar had won the Bigg Boss 7 show and had made sure that she continues her relation with Kushal even after it. To celebrate her victory, the couple were spotted partying in Goa, and Gauhar had even given a statement saying that she is happy seeing that nothing has changed between them post Bigg Boss. We hope that this new reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi does not add too much spice in their love world, and for a change Kushal wins it, which would give Gauhar too an opportunity to be proud of him.

Bigg Boss runner-up Tanishaa Mukherjee losing weight for her new Bollywood stint?

Bigg Boss runner-up Tanishaa Mukherjee seems to have found work at last. Owing to her newly found popularity, Tanishaa was invited as the chief guest at The Times Food Guide Awards recently.  

 

Tanishaa looked fresh and gorgeous in a black and white outfit at the event but seemed to have lost oodles of weight post her Bigg Boss stint. Now weather the actress is sweating it out for her film projects or the Bigg Boss stint has taken a toll on her health will be revealed soon. 

 

Tanishaa seems to be happier than ever after her long New Year vacation with her Bigg Boss inmates Armaan Kohli and Andy in Goa. The actress was highly criticized for her intimate moments with Armaan Kohli in the Bigg Boss house and even earned the wrath of her mother Tanuja and sister Kajol for the same. 

 

Tanishaa last made headlines when she was mobbed by the public in Goa while on an outing with Armaan Kohli. She also walked the red carpet with mom Tanuja at the Screen awards and at the Star Guild awards recently. 

 

While Gauhar Khan won the Bigg Boss season 7, Tanishaa’s future plans are yet to be announced. 

'Indian Idol 2' winner Sandeep Acharya no more

Bikaner (Rajasthan), Dec 16: 'Indian Idol 2' winner Sandeep Acharya died yesterday at the age of 29 in a private hospital in Gurgaon after suffering from jaundice.

Sandeep, afflicted with the disease for the past few days, was crowned the winner of singing reality show 'India Idol Season 2' on April 22, 2006.

The singer was shifted to Gurgaon in Haryana after his condition deteriorated, family members said, adding he breathed his last in the afternoon.

The playback singer, who is survived by his wife and a month-old daughter, had won the award for best new Bollywood talent in New Jersey, USA.

He had also bagged the Sur Aradhna award for best upcoming male singer category. The news of his death saddened his fans and inhabitants of his native town in Rajasthan.

The judges and host of the second season of the 'Indian Idol' expressed grief over the sudden demise of the singer.

Sonu Nigam, who was one of the judges on 'Indian Idol 2', posted on Twitter: "Sandeep Acharya died? Oh my God.. I'm so so sad. What a beautiful soul. The boy was just 29... God give his parents some strength."

Co-judge Farah Khan wrote: "It's too sad to hear of Sandeep Acharya, winner of 'Indian Idol 2' and my favourite. passing away. Such a gentle boy he was. Not his time to go."

Show's host Mini Mathur said: "What a sad, premature goodbye to a talented, ambitious, happy boy."

Condoling Sandeep's death, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said "it was the most unfortunate and untimely death of the young talent."
