Karan Johar is back to the spicy Indian Tadka and throw his charm yet again in the popular dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. The filmmaker is equally looking forward to the show as the audience is. The reason he continued with show for the second time as he is impressed the format, the team that works behind it and ofcourse his great rapport with people sitting next to him, Remo D’Souza and Madhuri Dixit.
While exclusive speaking to Dailybhaskar.com about his pattern of judging and how frank he is while giving his feedback, Karan says, “I never lie. If I don’t like something I will say. But words have a great way of working themselves into your comments. You can use words without offending or insulting anyone. It’s very easy to come across as rude and nasty but that’s not fair to the contestants. They are also celebrities and we all in the social focus and I know how tough it is for us to receive criticism. When you criticize, there is a way of doing it.
There is a way of padding it and eventually there is a reflection of criticism is there in this course. You have to choose the right words. Like when I see certain judges I say to myself that I can’t be that rude and offensive like when they say “im sorry I didn’t get it, you dint work hard “ and all that. I am never lying, I am always honest I say what I feel I must say but really there are also pluses in the performances that you must talk about.”
Jhalak Season 6 is very focused on dance acts keeping the other elements, specially humor at the backdrop. This time the judges will be brutal, honest and extremely strict about the opinions to the contestants. Something to definitely look forward to.
