Shaan has effortlessly donned the roles of a playback singer, music director, lyricist and a television show host in the past but his latest attempt to conquer the India’s grandest dance stage is going to be no easy task. There is an interesting story behind Shaan’s decision to sport his dancing shoes.Shaan is known to have taken this step purely to match steps with his wife, Radhika who loves to dance.
He said, “My wife Radhika is a great dancer, she always kept nudging me to dance with her at outings but I preferred to stretch my vocals than my hamstrings. I therefore decided to do this for my wife, to walk with her hand in mine marching towards this great stage of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and take up this challenge. To dance with her and to dance for her.”
Having seen the versatile singer sing hit numbers Now it’s time for the man himself to face the archlights and prove his dancing prowess to his wife, to the judges, to the audience and to himself.
