A while back we revealed that Farah Khan will replace Karan Johar on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded and now we have EXCLUSIVE details of why she might be roped in for the show. As you all know Farah Khan had replaced Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 8, when Salman left to shoot for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We hear that during this time Farah Khan had signed a contract with COLORS and the contract stated that she would judge/host another show with the channel.

As a source close to the channel reveals, “Farah Khan has a contract with the channel and she was supposed to host the next season of Bigg Boss. However, the channel is thinking to call Salman Khan for the next season as well. So to keep their word and keeping in mind the contractual terms, the channel has thought of getting Farah Khan on board to judge the remaining part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded.”

If this is true, it is a great move by the channel and with the show continuing to have a good TRP, having Farah on board will be a plus point as Bigg Boss 8’s TRPs increased in Farah’s reign as the host. It will be interesting to see how the audience reacts to the appointment of Farah on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded!

10 Facts You Didn’t Know Twinkle Khanna - Akshay Kumar

1.  They met and fell  in love in 1999 during the making of International Khiladi. Kapil Sharma 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ poster

The first look poster of funnyman Kapil Sharma's debut Bollywood film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' is out.

The stand up-comedian, who has been missing from his popular comedy TV show for while, took to Twitter to share the poster of his first film.

Starring Kapil,34, as the lead, the film also features, Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram and Varun Sharma in prominent roles. The poster sees, the comedian dressed up as a groom donning a sherwani, surrounded by his four supposed love interests. Arbaaz, who was last seen in ‘Dabangg 2’, is seemingly playing the character of a local don. ‘Fukrey’ actor Varun sticks to his typically funny gesture in the poster.

Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the film’s first trailer will be out on August 13. The movie is scheduled for a September 25 release.

I will keep visiting India: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

NEW DELHI: Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who believes music and sports can strengthen ties between India and Pakistan, says he will continue to visit India despite problems.

On Thursday, the "Main jahaan rahun" and "O re piya" singer was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in a case of alleged forex violation. In 2011, he was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence following a day's detention at the airport for carrying undisclosed foreign currency totalling more than $100,000. But Rahat remains undeterred and says now "there are no issues". "There was the issue in 2011. The Enforcement Directorate called us again for some pending queries. We tried our best to fulfil them. Thanks to God, they were satisfied. Now there are no issues. I will keep visiting India like before," Rahat told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.

The singer, who is visiting India after a four-year gap, is currently in the country to celebrate the success of his songs in Bollywood films like 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' and 'Drishyam'. "Music has no boundaries. Music and sports can play a strong role in strengthening bilateral ties. And they have already done it. These things matter a lot, so they should be given more importance," he stressed. Speaking positively on the "musical and cultural" relations between India and Pakistan, he said "certain people" were trying to put chains on the blossoming bilateral ties. "The musical and cultural relations may not be appreciated by certain people, so they are trying to put chains. But it's a bad thing. It's not right. He pointed out that many Pakistanis had relatives in India and vice versa. They travel from India to Pakistan. From Karachi, people come to India to meet their relatives."

Rahat, whose track "Zaruri tha" is getting massive response in India, credits Bollywood's Bhatt camp for its growing popularity. The song has been featured in the film 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', which is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. "The song is a part of my album 'Back 2 Love', which was released in 2014. In the Indian film industry, a good song has a huge platform… (I am hoping) it will get more popularity. It's all possible because of Mahesh Bhatt. All credit goes to the Bhatt banner," he said. "I started off with Pooja Bhatt's film 'Paap' and since then we have shared a great relationship," added the crooner, who lent his melodious voice to the song "Mann ki lagan" for the John Abraham-Udita Goswami starrer 'Paap'.

Rahat also revealed that a new album was in the making, which may see the light of day later this year. "There is a new album coming out in the end of this year. We are doing the listing of the album right now." On the musical style, Rahat said that the yet untitled album was based on Punjabi songs. "The new album will have 70 percent Punjabi songs and the rest will be in Hindi. There will be songs on the lines of 'Mai tenu samjhawan ki'. No name has been finalised for this album yet," he added.

Director Rajkumar Hirani Injured In A Bike Mishap

Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood. In an unfortunate incident, Hirani met with a bike accident this morning. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati hospital in Bandra and has been reported to be fine now.

 

Hirani reportedly fell off a motorbike, injured his jaw and ended up with a gash on the chin. On being contacted, a hospital official told IANS: “He is getting discharged. He is absolutely fine and nothing serious.”

The 52-year-old filmmaker is known for blockbusters like PK, 3 Idiots and the Munnabhai series.

Compliment for Alia to be compared with Kareena: Shahid

It's an achievement for Alia Bhatt to be compared to Kareena Kapoor Khan, says actor Shahid Kapoor.

At the trailer launch of their upcoming romantic comedy "Shaandaar", Shahid was asked about the similarities between the two women, since he has worked with both of them.

"First of all, it's a big compliment for Alia that she's compared with Kareena, since she's an extremely established actress and has done some notable work. I don't see any similarity between the two, since I feel Alia is an original actress and so is Kareena," Shahid said.

"I did 'Jab We Met' with Kareena many years ago, and now I'm doing 'Shaandaar' with Alia. The only common aspect is that I'm doing a love story. But other than that, I think both are phenomenal actors. Both of them are fantastic in their own ways," he said.

Shahid also spoke about how Alia agreed to do another of their film "Udta Punjab" in just two days despite the film's dark subject.

"I think Alia has her own journey, making some brave decisions. In the past 15-20 years, I haven't seen any other actress taking such brave decisions."

Kareena is also part of the project directed by Abhishek Chaubey.

"Shaandaar", directed by Vikas Bahl of "Queen" fame, is being produced by Phantom Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Bigg Boss Halla Bol 'Torture Cage' Synopsis, Day 12

The day begins with RJ Malishka surprising Pritam on his birthday by wishing him through an audio message. As soon as the housemates realize it is Pritam’s birthday they hug him tight with all excitement. 

Soon after the birthday surprise and wishes, Bigg Boss announces a task revealing the secret behind the mysterious briefcase. During Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Halla Bol host Farah Khan had announced  that the briefcase consists twenty five lakhs in cash. The new luxury budget task ‘Torture Cage’ will determine the twist behind the cash prize inside this suitcase. As the name suggest housemates will have to live inside a cage. Upen who is a guest of the house will supervise the task while the housemates are seen standing in the cage. All the contestants will have to stand pressing a given button attached to their respective names. The last man standing while pressing the button continuously will win immunity while the team the winner belongs to will own the golden briefcase. The winner of Bigg Boss Halla Bol will get  a chance to win this additional  twenty five lakhs along with the price money only if he belongs to the team owning the golden briefcase. But if the winner of the show is from the opposite team, then the price money will remain the same and will go to the one who receives the maximum votes amongst them.

The task here involves money as well as immunity hence the contestants are quite excited except few. Further we have Rahul stating that he has health issues and twenty five lakhs or the immunity doesn’t matter to him while Ali too is not bothered about the immunity and is skeptical whether he should really make so much effort for the money which eventually can be won by someone else as well.  Gautam, Pritam, Dimpy, Sambhavna, Ali, Rahul, Karishma, and Mahek gear up to  participate in the torture cage task while Upen is all set to be the supervisor. Disqualified contestants  can  irritate  the remaining participants without using any physical strength or move.

Housemates are worried if Upen will be biased towards his lady love Karishma Tanna. Mahek, Sambhavna and Dimpy are alert and feel  Gautam, Pritam and Karishma are their toughest competitor. It will be interesting to see the contestants sweating it out against each other as the countdown for the finale begins.

Sudden twister changes the whole game!!!

It was almost the end of the first day of the game and by now Ali and Mahek had quit too! However, the rest went on with strong desire to win till the end. They all looked fatigued, except Gautam, who wasn't talking much during the task. But just then Rahul was called in to collect a task related letter, which he was asked to read in front of everybody.*Lol* Rahul being called in place of Bigg Boss's favourite KT because she was inside the cage!

Struggle of the task turned into a sudden silence as the letter brought in the twist in the game. There was another option offered to the challengers who were still in the task that any one contestant leaving the task within half an hour could take a privilage in exchange to directly nominate a contender during next nominations.

Now, this was unexpected and put all of them in a fix! Karishma and Dimpy immediately decided to quit, but by the time Rahul finished rading the letter, Karishma declared she would quit and told about this to Upen, him being the conductor of the task. But just then, Dimpy got a little upset and said that she gave her name before Karishma, and Upen did partiality which was just not correct. Another heated argument broke between the two.

KT says she is emotional but pretty guarded!

So Upen and Karishma were all lovey-dovey near the washroom area and as Upen cuddled his lady love and asked why was she breaking down so often these days? She replied saying that because she was quite emotional by nature but at the same time guarded too. KT confessed that she was easily getting hurt these days after taking everyone's harsh opinion. She said that she had a breaking point like any normal human after certain amount of suffering. Just then Dimpy walked in and Upen said - "Aa gayi humaari emotional roller coaster!"

But just a few moments before this episode, Ali was seen talking to Sambhavna and Dimpy about Karishma's boyfriend outside and with the statement that KT gave this morning, he felt disappointed and unhappy for him. He said that was unfair for the person who didn't get any chance to talk before the lady took the decision.

Coming back to the task that was going on, every one joked about the amount that was being offered after winning the task and Karishma, Upen and Sambhavna discussed how they can have a deal to share the amount. When they asked Gautam jokingly if they would have a money deal, Gautam shrugged off saying he wanted only to focus on the game until it went on. He wasn't interested in any kind of deals and the task for money wasn't a good idea! He ended up saying he wanted to give it all to task with full honesty and then see who won in the end!

Sambhavna frowns over Rahul's behaviour!

When I saw Smabhavana ths morning, I could only sense that she was absolutely miffed with Rahul. She was seen frowning and telling how he acted mean all the time with her. She said she had always tried to maintain good relations with Rahul, but she knew as they all would step out of the show he wouldn't even bother to look back and ask how she was. Sambhavna shared that Rahul carried the same attitude even during season 2. She also went on saying how he told her before entering the house this time that she should stand by him as a friend whenever support was needed. And as per her, she remained loyal as a friend but Rahul had a wrong attitude towards her when he didn't need her.

Sambhavna was literally screaming out at a moment. She said that Rahul had always done this with her and still he wasn't bothered to care for her sentiments and that she was unnecessarily caring for him.She felt as if she wasn being used emotionally.

Rahul wasn't around all this while, but what must have gone wrong between the two making Sambhavna think like that? Was Rahul actually using an old friend for his own good?

Isse kehte hain torture-torture!

The task introduced this week was called ‘Torture Cage’. Which was also exceptionally different from the rest of the tasks that have happened so far in the season. 

This task could actually decide who would win the 25 lacs Rupees, hung in the golden brief case in the garden area. Just the mention of that made everyone feel truly serious about the task.

The garden had a cage setup, wherein names of all the contestants had red and green lights below their names and the contestants were supposed to press the button which would flash the green light and in no case could leave the pressed button. Not even to attend nature's call! If the person moved his/her hand from the pressed button and the light turned red, that meant disqualification for him or her from the task. At the same time the person could convince others to leave the pressed button if they wanted. But the main catch was, if the person won from challengers team for example, the entire team would be called the winner of the task but during the finale if the contestant was from challengers only then he or she could take the prize amount Rs.50 lacs added with these 25 lacs.On the other hand if the current task winner was from champions as against to the season's winner for example from challengers,the 25 lacs would go to the person earned maximum votes from winning team and vice-versa. 

Guess what? Rahul gave up the task just in few minutes after it started off! But why?? Who were the next ones in queue?

Pritam gets a special call on his birthday and the caller wants to talk to UPMA!

Yeah! It was Pritam’s birthday and early in the morning he got an unexpected call. It was his very dear friend RJ Malishka on the other end, who had called to wish him. 

Malishka had come inside the house during the season as Pritam’s guest for a party and hence formally been introduced to all the housemates. So, after the wishing and all was done for Pritam, Malishka insisted on talking to UPMA, Ali and Rahul.

Interestingly, Malishka directly questioned KT about the entire hue and cry that was there about her missing her boyfriend during these four months that the entire nation knows now. And then this sudden growth in hers and Upen’s relationship. And for the first time in front of all Karishma proclaimed her growing affection towards him was more than friendship, as she said they are seriously going to think over it once they got out of the house. Yes! Now the entire house got the clarity too. Karishma was further questioned that why was she talking about her boyfriend all the tine? And was that all a big lie? Karishma said that whatever was outside was incomplete, wherein Upen came as positive force in her life and she had done some mistakes in past which she repented doing and now whenever she thought of realization Upen came to her mind! Hence, it was clear from her end too! I guess everyone got their answers by now.

Asking Rahul, Malishka checked if his crush was over on KT and he said “Haan utar gaya.” Malishka laughed and said, he answered as if “Bhoot Utar gaya!”

Housemates condemn Gautam in unison!

And once again the entire house turned against Gautam this morning. It looked like as if each thought that it had been so long and they had not spoken about Gautam. Basically, everyone was upset over him because he didn’t do his work in the kitchen when he was supposed to do and if he did, he seeked assistance by someone for even minutest of things. 

Citing an instance, the housemates went on ranting that if he was cooking vegetables he required someone to cut onions and somebody to pass on the oil. Everyone showed their annoyance over and told him that he was trying to imitate Puneet ji, who ordered that way; while he working in the kitchen asking for some help or the other. Now that was because he could cook for all the three meals and since he was eldest people heartily extended help, but Gautam asking for the same wasn’t right. They added saying that Gautam wasn’t doing that tedious a job, which he couldn’t manage alone. Also, complaining that in the morning, when everyone required the breakfast, he would go for shower or hair styling, which was wrong. 

Mahek was initially seen trying to defend Gautam but then Ali, Karishma and Rahul, along with others, overpowered the whole conversation.

Ot was later that Gautam got to know about all of this. Actually, Upen called him to explain and very calmly Gautam laid his points saying he was being misunderstood. In fact, he himself didn’t want people to starve but that very moment he genuinely needed help,  which was being exaggerated way too much. Upen keenly tried understanding his point of view too.

Let’s see if at all they like his cooking at least?

After Farah Khan stepped into Salman Khan's boots in Bigg Boss as the new host, things have been heating up inside the precincts of the controversial reality show. And the talk of the town today is Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna's PDA which is evidently grabbing huge eyeballs. The pair who were caught on cam smooching each other with alacrity has sent the show spiralling on a different tangent.

Upen who entered the house as a guest after Ajaz's exit was seen getting intimate with the hot Karishma and speculations are also rife that they are already a couple. Karishma however has denied the news and said that it's perhaps tad too early to call them a couple. She has however said that Upen's return has made her happy and feel.more positive.

Meanwhile, host Farah Khan seems extremely pleased with the turn of events inside the house and has no problems at the hot UpMa (Upen - KarishMa) being dished out to the public. Justifying the kiss, Farah said, "I don't think they are showing anything on TV. The channels are being discreet about it and that is how it should be."

When we asked her if she approved of such actions inside the house as a host, Farah clarified, "Let me tell you that I am a very broadminded person and I have no problems at all. People are free to do whatever they want inside the house."

Now that's a host everyone likes, we say. Impartial and neutral to the proceedings inside the house.

A knife in the back or a dart in the face! Synopsis, Day 11

Bigg Boss house is known to give punishment in the most unique and entertaining of ways. In the Sunday episode of Weekend Ka Halla Bol, host Farah Khan sentenced Karishma Tanna to a punishment of being handcuffed to co-challenger Rahul Mahajan till further notice.

With 13 days remaining for the finale of this season, the first day of the week when the contestants have to nominate each other for eviction has become the most important day. Bigg Boss announces the nominations procedure; where each housemate will impale the contestants’ pictures hanging on a dartboard with arrows. Each contestant has only two darts to choose who they want to put forward for nomination. But since Ali is the Captain of the house, he has immunity from nominations this week, along with Upen Patel, who cannot be nominated as he is a guest in the Bigg Boss house. But not all are as lucky, when it comes to nominations as Mahek was already nominated for this week as she became the target of the Bigg Bomb thrown on her by recently evicted contestant Sana Khan.

When it comes down to eliminating their strongest competitor or just the contestant against whom they hold a grudge, every housemate uses the nominations to pour the venom of their bitterness stowed inside. Where at one end Gautam and Karishma take personal jabs at each other, on the other Dimpy skews the picture of Karishma and Pritam for all the drama that unfolded in the past week. After an intense session of nominations with the housemates spitting fire on each other, four members are nominated for eviction this week.

Licking the wounds suffered during nominations, the housemates initiate their sessions of gossip and discussion with their trusted allies. Seeing themselves figuratively impaled by the metaphorical toxins of words, would the housemates be provoked to revolt against their antagonist? Look what were the post nomination discussions in the house!

It looked like a ‘Kiss and Makeup’ situation when Rahul and Upen cleared out all the doubts and misunderstandings, which had one Mazboot kadi Karishma involved. Upen showed his true modesty while talking on behalf of his dear friend, who was already going through emotional high in the house after being the victim of everyone’s allegations. His approach was quite mature as he spoke to Rahul. At the same time Rahul behaved wisely by talking out all the matters ensuring there weren’t further confusions about just anything, which could be the reason for unnecessary happenings inside the house.

On the other side, Gautam and Mahek seemed too involved and engrossed in some serious discussions where Mahek spoke of the winners of different shows not necessarily ensuring their future successes too. She said that it could be possible that the one, who couldn’t win was anytime more successful than the winner himself/herself.

I was wondering what was going inside her mind while she said all that? Who she thought was on losing end? Did she have such thoughts because she was nominated? What message has Gautam taken by all this?

Karishma breaks down finally after being everyone's bull's eye!

Karishma was totally heartbroken after Dimpy said that she was an ‘opportunist’ after nominating her. According to KT nothing hurt her more than listening to this term. She couldn’t hold onto her emotions and started crying bitterly. She was trying to be very strong but sometimes you just loose it, that was exactly the case with Ms.Tanna.

Upen, who cannot see his lady lovein any pain tried cheering her up. He said that it was quite commendable how sportingly she always took everyone’s negative comments for her and still managed to smile. According to Upen, Karishma coming this far in the show was itself a sign of her immense strength with which she was going forward every day. He also added that she wasn’t bad at all, and if she was bad he wouldn’t ever be friends with her. Oho! So your friendship quotes – ‘Conditions apply’ Oopii?  He said that she need not cry when he was around. Awww!!

After a while of calming down Karishma said how Pritam nominated her giving reason, which was already resolved between them. She felt cheated by Pritam and felt terrible. 

Will KT be able to maintain her composure till the fianle or it is just the beginning of a wall names karishma crumbeling down?

Sambhavna realizes that Sana was closest to her heart!

Sambhavna cried like a baby after Sana left the house yestereday. In fact, she cried buckets for hours. Everyone knew that the two ladies were together all the time and the bonds grew stronger during the two weeks even more. Sambhavna was missing her friend badly this morning when she said how convenient Sana made it for her by dropping the big bomb on Mahek, making her unsafe during the week.

As Mahek had deeply hurt Sambhavna, she  somewhere felt that Sana helped her in a way by nominating her or else for her it would have been very difficult and awkward because Mahek was a good friend at some point in time. Sambhavna also added that the people use personal grudges to nominate each other, which was never her funda,she said she always would prefer keeping personal thing personal and not as a weapon to nominate somebody. Citing an example about Gautam who had hurt her very much, Sambhavna said she would never ever nominate him for those reasons, also that she has promised to stand by him no matter what. I am impressed Sambhavana!

Towards the end of the topic, Sambhavna also mentioned that she was part of champions only because of Sana, flaunting her black mic!
